Sands Capital Managing Partners Michael Clarke, Michael Graninger, and Barron Martin Jr. were named to Washingtonian magazine’s 2025 Tech Titans list, which features leaders shaping the region’s technology ecosystem. The trio were cited among the publication’s annual roundup of innovators driving growth and impact across venture capital, entrepreneurship, cybersecurity, and government technology.
With more than $58 billion in assets, Sands Capital makes long-term, high-conviction investments in businesses that have the potential to become global leaders. In June, that approach was highlighted by the sale of Brightflag, a legal-software company backed by Sands Capital since its Series A round, to Dutch information-services firm Wolters Kluwer for $425 million.
