Michael joined Sands Capital in 2011 as a Research Analyst on the Global Technology Sector Team and later helped lead the firm’s technology research efforts. Michael was named a Co-Portfolio Manager of the Technology Innovators strategy in 2013 and was promoted to Sr. Research Analyst in 2016. Michael helped create and launch the Global Innovation strategy—which seeks to invest in select technology and tech-enabled private businesses—in 2018. Prior to joining Sands Capital, Michael was a Senior Associate at FBR Capital Markets and a Case Law Manager at Greenberg Traurig.
