Stewardship and Long-term Investing: Why It Still Matters

For long-term investors, assessing the full range of risks and opportunities—including governance and sustainability factors—is second nature. The key challenge is determining what matters and applying this across industries, geographies, and business maturity stages.

This panel will examine the challenges of integrating stewardship, governance, and sustainability into long-term investment practices and the role qualitative, bottom-up investors can play in a landscape dominated by scores and exclusions.

Gridlock: Energy in the Age of AI

Artificial intelligence (AI) is fueling a data center boom which will likely require massive amounts of electricity to process large data sets and train complex models. This phenomenon is creating both angst and opportunity for technological innovation.

With renewable energy representing most of the new generation added to the electric grid, how do you modernize and continue to green our 100-year-old grid infrastructure to ensure long term reliability and equal access to this critical resource.

How are utilities responding and what is the role of regulation in helping to pave the way while curbing impact? What type of innovation is happening within the data center to support sustainable growth?
