Kevin G. Murphy, CFA is a Managing Director at Sands Capital.
Kevin joined Sands Capital in 2002 and has held several roles since then, including portfolio manager, director of the firm’s wealth management group, and senior director of client relations. In 2025, Kevin was promoted to managing director.
Earlier in his career, Kevin was a senior manager of business strategy and analysis at Marriott International.
Kevin received an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and earned his BA in political science from Colorado College. He is a CFA® charterholder.
