Namita is an associate of technical research. She joined Sands Capital in 2024. Before joining the firm, Namita was a senior research scientist at the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Earlier, she was a research associate at the University of Zurich and a junior research associate at the Indian Institute of Science.
Namita received an MS in chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and a PhD in organic chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science.
