Josie is a managing director, client relations. She joined Sands Capital in 2016 as a director, client relations. Josie was promoted to senior director in 2020 and managing director in 2025.

Before joining the firm, Josie spent a decade at Harding Loevner as a portfolio manager and analyst, evaluating global businesses and working closely with institutional investors. She also served as a senior consulting associate at Cambridge Associates, advising clients on investment strategy and portfolio construction.

Josie brings considerable international experience and perspective to her role. Earlier in her career, she taught at the Pitisuksa Montessori School in Chiang Rai, Thailand, and worked as a business associate at ICQ/American Online in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Josie received an MBA in finance from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and a BSM in finance from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
