Ben is a co-portfolio manager of the Sands Capital Select Growth and Global AI Innovators strategies and a senior research analyst, covering internet and media businesses. He joined Sands Capital in 2021 as a research analyst and was promoted to senior research analyst in 2023. Ben was named co-portfolio manager of Select Growth and Global AI Innovators in 2026.
Before joining Sands Capital, Ben was an analyst at Davis Advisors. He now applies the same experience in deep fundamental and long-term-oriented research to his work as a growth investor.
Earlier in his career, Ben was a senior research associate at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. He also served as head of finance at Ampush, gaining an operator’s view of how growth companies make financial and strategic decisions.
Ben received a BS in psychology from Tufts University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
