Andrew joined Sands Capital in 2010 and is Managing Director, Client Relations. Andrew began his career at Sands Capital supporting client relations efforts for public equity strategies, and his passion for the private space steered him to the Sands Capital Ventures team. Andrew has worked with Frank Sands to implement Sands Capital’s client-first, white-glove service approach to our Partners. Andrew leads the team’s business development efforts and is the primary contact for all partner and prospective engagements. Andrew came to Sands Capital from Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Capital Markets where he spent six years supporting equity clients and cultivating relationships with hedge funds and long-only firms across the US. Andrew holds a B.A. from Middlebury College and has dual MBAs from Columbia Business School and London Business School.
