Alex is the senior counsel and chief compliance officer. She manages all aspects of Sands Capital’s compliance program, including the development and implementation of related policies, procedures, and systems. She joined the firm in 2021.
Before joining Sands Capital, Alex held compliance and legal roles at several investment advisors. She was a director of compliance for SoftBank Investment Advisers, deputy chief compliance officer for Rock Springs Capital, and associate general counsel for Cavalry Asset Management. She was also a vice president at Cordium, where she provided regulatory compliance consulting services for hedge fund, private equity, and venture capital firms.
Alex received a BS in international business from the University of Maryland and a JD from Cornell Law School.
